A former government prosecutor says he was tortured by the Taliban

A prosecutor of the General Directorate of the Directorate of Combating Internal and External Security Crimes of the former government says that the Taliban arrested him and tortured him in prison for two weeks.
He told Afghanistan International that in the previous government he was responsible for dealing with the cases of Taliban and Daesh members and that is why he was wanted.
This former prosecutor, who did not want to be named, added that he had worked on the case of a Taliban fighter in the past, and through that, the Taliban were able to find his place of residence.
He says he is now free.
Contrary to the general amnesty of the Taliban, this group has always pursued former government employees, especially military personnel and military personnel.
According to human rights organizations, hundreds of former soldiers have been killed or disappeared by the Taliban.
Two days ago, the Taliban arrested a former commander of the local police in Parwan province and tortured him to death.
